ICH-KI is an ecological hostal and healing center located at the heart of the Yucatan countryside. It is the gateway to getting to know the mystic heritage of the ancient Maya. In the most literal way represented by the ancient Sac-Be or white road crossing the lands. Since its foundation in 2014 construction works have been done in collaboration with the local villagers and is based on Maya sacred geometry and calendaric knowledge.

ICH-KI signifies "to enter the good". Due to the special caracteristics of the Mayan languages, its meaning is directly connected to water, breath of life and ethereal energy. Another interpretation is "In the middle of Agave fields", referring to its use in earlier centuries as being part of a gigantic plantation of an old hacienda.

ICH-KI is being developed in these new times after big energy changes in 2012 to find and provide a harmonious, environmentally friendly and tranquil place where people can come to rest, reconnect with nature and their spirituality and learn new things through Mayan Traditions. 

​

At our eco-hostel we offer kindness and a place where you can feel at home, spending the nights at one of our cabanas that have been built according to ancient Mayan architecture. 

 

You might also appreciate the other activities we offer at ICH-KI:
 

• The work we do at our eco-project has taught us a lot and could inspire you to develop 'green fingers' and a more conscious relationship with Mother Earth. 

• We organize special events - randomly or on request - such as the Mystic Mayan Nights, including introductory lecture about the way the Maya applied astonomic phenomena in their pyramids and the opportunity to watch the Yucatan night skies through a telescope.

• If you feel like going out and explore the magical Mundo Maya of the Yucatán, but would prefer to have a guide with you, at our Tour section you can find the different options at hand.

• At our healing center you can consciously work on yourself by receiving energy healings and follow courses in healing work.
